Bergen light Rail is a LRT system. The first line opened in 2010 and is continuously being extended.
With the opening of construction stage 3 on 15th of august 2016, the system consists of 20 km double track between the city centre and Bergen Airport as well as workshop and depot facilities.
Design is ongoing for an extension to the west of Bergen (stage 4). A further extension is currently under planning to the north of Bergen (stage 5).
