Our ambition

At Årstad videregående skole, we welcome students from all walks of life, all with their different goals for their education. The staff at our school aim to meet students’ needs at all levels to prepare for life as a professional worker in the chosen line of study. We also emphasize the learning of social skills as an important element in the preparation for adult life. We are proud of being a multi-cultural school.

Looking for international partners

At Årstad videregående skole, we value an international dimension in our approach to learning. We want our own students and the students from our partner schools to benefit from the opportunities for future work presented to them through our international contacts.

We are working on broadening our international contact, and are looking for potential international collaborators, primarily in the areas of Health care, Media and Technology. Being a multi-cultural school, collaboration within this area would also be interesting to us. Our aim is primarily exchange of students and teachers.

Årstad videregående skole is involved in international projects in Estonia, Italy, Germany and Åland (Finland).
